Attending the Family Café event in Orlando, Florida was a truly uplifting and empowering experience. The event brought together families, advocates, and professionals from across the state to support individuals with disabilities and their loved ones. The atmosphere was welcoming, inclusive, and filled with valuable resources. From the engaging breakout sessions to the informative exhibitors and inspiring keynote speakers, every aspect was thoughtfully organized to educate, connect, and encourage. It was also a great opportunity to network with other families facing similar challenges, and to feel a strong sense of community. We left feeling more informed, supported, and hopeful for the future. I highly recommend the Family Café to anyone looking to learn, grow, and be inspired in a caring and collaborative environment. The organization's annual conference is outstanding. There are workshops, meetings, music by different groups, conference sessions, equipment vendors and many opportunities to share information with others in similar circumstances. Check the website for kids and teen events and sessions. The governor usually comes to an evening session. Good food, too.
